A three-year restoration work is ending with a specific attention to the inside of the church. The church is typical of French religious architecture of the second half of the 19th century.
At the time, artists used to find inspiration in the Medieval works of art. The architect of that time, Henri Revoil, built it in a Neo-Gothic style. Saint-Genest Church was built on the site of an older church, and some of the elder church stones are being used in this monument.
